The classes I teach are functional strength training, spin cycling, and yoga. My favorite is strength training with a little cardio kicked it. I also love to run, hike, and bike. I am a Certified Group Fitness Instructor through NESTA and a Certified Yoga Instructor through NETA. I almost always workout first thing in the morning to jump start my day.

Have been teaching @ LC for 4 years.  Certified in Water Exercise, Group Fitness, and Yoga.  Currently instruct Water Aerobics, Clarinda Pump, Ageless Yoga, and Gentle Yoga.  I enjoy bicycling, hiking, music, vegetable, and flower gardening, cooking & eating healthy.

I’m a wife, mother, and grandmother.  I am a runner, a cyclist, and a swimmer, but most importantly I am a Christian and give God all the glory for all that He has done in my life.  I am a certified group fitness instructor. I teach spin classes and strength training classes. I really like to work with people and see them transition their lives for the better.  This transition is so important to me because I have seen the highs and the lows myself.  Exercise has been a big part of my life and I know how the positive impact it has on me.   A strong, healthy body is important to face life’s challenges.  My first fitness love is running, I have competed in many runs ranging from a 5k to a full marathon.  My second fitness love is cycling.  Cycling has proven to be a great cross training exercise when mixed with running.  I enjoy riding in organized rides, with my favorite being RAGBAI.   I also enjoy swimming, which allows me to put all three exercises together to compete in triathlons.

I am an Instructor at the Clarinda Lied Center. I teach strength training, water exercise, and deep-water classes. I love the enthusiasm from all my ladies and gentlemen that comes to my classes. They all inspire me, and they are not afraid of a great physical workout. I love their smiles. I simply love helping others in hopes reaching their goals and to keep active and to have fun in the process.

My name is Simat Whipp and I am an ACE Certified Aerobic instructor and Personal Trainer.  I currently teach Step Aerobics and am active in Equine sports, cycling and hiking. I am also endorsed as a high school Health instructor with an emphasis in biology, anatomy and physiology.
