Lori Haffner - Water Exercise and Strength Training
I am an Instructor at the Clarinda Lied Center. I teach strength training, water exercise, and deep-water classes. I love the enthusiasm from all my ladies and gentlemen that comes to my classes. They all inspire me, and they are not afraid of a great physical workout. I love their smiles. I simply love helping others in hopes reaching their goals and to keep active and to have fun in the process.

Michele Cavin - Water Fitness Instructor
Michele grew up in Clarinda and is a 1992 CHS graduate. She spent several years in the Kansas City area, where her love of water aerobics began at the YMCA. In 2004, she had perfect attendance in a 250-hour yoga teacher’s training and has first and second level certifications in Kundalini Yoga instruction.
She returned to Clarinda in early 2012, had a son, Hunter, and set down roots renovating a house with her husband Bruce “Skip” Eddington, the two were married in 2018. Michele is a graphic artist and formerly worked at her family’s Café/Bakery, Down Right Delicious.
Michele earned her water exercise instruction certification through FiTOUR and began teaching at the Lied Center in late 2020. Her classes are fun, challenging, and uplifting with a focus on feeling good in the body you’re in.

The classes I teach are functional strength training, spin cycling, and yoga. My favorite is strength training with a little cardio kicked it. I also love to run, hike, and bike. I am a Certified Group Fitness Instructor through NESTA and a Certified Yoga Instructor through NETA. I almost always workout first thing in the morning to jump start my day.
